Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American sportscaster. She is employed by ESPN as an SportsCenter anchor for news. Her first job at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been a bilingual since she was nine years old a useful ability that allowed her to secure her first position in the production department at Univision in Miami which gave her the chance to be a part of the production team for national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Her first job was as a reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. She moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. The stories she covered were about illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking throughout Texas and Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1985, in Mexico City. Her older sister is also hers. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in 2006. The summer in 2006 she took one week with her sibling at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. Antonietta is a senior in high school but she knew exactly what career path she wanted to pursue. While deciding if Mount Union would be a good fit for her Antonietta visited the school. At the end of the day she was enthralled with the school. The university offered her the opportunity to study a major. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the University. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also WRMU's 91.1FM station where she worked over the years, became an acquaintance. He was the one who boosted her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm in Journalism touched her deeply. In turn, she strived to fulfill his expectations and never let him down.
